How It Works
Zapier is an online automation tool that connects popular apps, such as Gmail, Slack, MailChimp, and over 1,000 other web services. Connect two or more apps to automate tasks without relying on developers to build integrations.

What Can I Do With This Integration?
With over 1,000+ web services to sync with, the possibilities are endless. You can have certain actions occur when something specific happens in SalesBinder or when a certain action happens in another web service.
For example, you can integrate with an email service (such as Gmail) and set it up to send you an email anytime someone creates a new invoice in SalesBinder. You can also have things happen from the other side too. For example, you can integrate with MailChimp (an email newsletter system) so anytime a new subscriber is added to an email list, they automatically get added as a “contact” in your SalesBinder address book as well.
Connecting your SalesBinder account to your Zapier account:
The entire setup process is done through the Zapier.com website. Simply login to your Zapier account (or create an account) and get started by creating your first Zap.
What is a Zap?
A Zap is a connection, or integration, between two or more apps that automates your task. A Zap is made of a “trigger” (ex.: When I receive a new email in Gmail…) and an “action” (ex.: …send me an SMS message). Zaps run automatically to move and manage data without any work on your part.
How Zaps Interact With SalesBinder:
SalesBinder utilizes Zapier’s instant Zaps, which means anytime you do something in SalesBinder, if there’s a Zap associated to that action, then it will execute your Zap within a few short seconds. If you have a Zap setup to send data into SalesBinder, as soon as that Zap is executed, SalesBinder will reflect that update as well.
Like all of our of other integrations, Zapier is fully integrated into every part of SalesBinder. If you update your SalesBinder data using our API, through an integrated website, or even while using our iPhone app – those actions will also run any associated Zaps.
For your own peace of mind we also include your executed Zaps in our nicely formatted Integrations Log which you can review in the Settings area of your account. It will show if any actions are still queued to be synced, running, completed successfully, or failed. In the rare chance that the synchronization failed, it will likely include a reason so you can learn why it happened and optionally adjust your data and then retry it.
